ORDINATION SERVICE

In the evening an ordination service was heid in Wesley Church in tho presence of a large congregation. The icrvico was conducted by the conference president, the Rev. S. Lawry, who was assisted bv a number of the senior ministers. They ordained, four men who wore admitted as ministers into full connexion with tho conference early in the week—the Revs. John D. McArthur, Edward Bandy, Harry Cotton and Joseph B. Suckling. Their ordination bv the laying on of hands was conducted by the Rev. S. Lawry (president). Rev. C. H. Laws (secretary), Revs. W. Ready and G. Knowles Smith (ex-presidents), to-n-ether with the Revs. W. Baumber, W. S. Potter, J. Guy, W. Laycock, J. Dawson, E. Drake, J. Clover and A. B. Chappell. , , , . The charge to the newly-ordained ministers was delivered by the Roy. W. Ready (ex-president of the old Methodist Church), and the Rev. G. Knowles Smith (ex-president of the Primitive Methodist Church) addressed the congregation.
