RIFLE SHOOTING
HIGHLAND CLUB. Last Saturday class-firing was carried out, and most of the members were put through. Some very good shooting resulted, in spite of adverse weather conditions oud the fact that shooting was carried out under Service conditions. At 500 yards no less than seven found the bull's-eye with the first shot, showing that the use of the aperture sight has not spoilt men for the use of the Service sights. The leading aggregates to date are: A. Class.—Rifleman Eves, 596; Rifleman Sneddon, 586; Deputy-President Shannon, 564; Rifleman Spencer, 550; President McDonald, 541. B Class.—Rifleman McGlade, 490; Rifleman Morrison, 464; Rifleman Hayes, 397.
