Binnie, scr, 2; B. B- Smith, 10yds, 3. Also started—J. L. McDonald 70yds, P. McComisky 90yds, B. Tracy 110yds, C, H, Duck 130yds, 1 1 . Tryora 140yds, C. Brock 140yds. A. Clapham 160yds. Time, Smin 9 4-ssec. AV bare Relay Race —Central, 1; Cabbage Patch, 2. The team of Southland athletes, who are competing hero on Saturday, at the New Zealand championship meeting on the Basin. Reserve, arrived yesterday morning, bringing with them the championship shield, of which they are the present holders. The shield will be on display at Armit’s. Lambton quay, today and to-morrow.
