FIGHTING IN TRIPOLI
ARABS ATTACK ITALIANS. POWERS’ INTERVENTION IMPOSSIBLE. . LONDON, February 12, The “Daily Telegraph” states that it is understood that Turkey, through Tewfik Pasha, Ambassador m London, has formally requested the intervention of tho Powers in'Tnpoli, where an independent Arab Government m the Tripolitan Hinterland has begun hostilities against the Italians with 4000 weU-cquipped soldiers, 2000 of whom have arrived before Zuaraadjilat." It is announced that the neutrality of the Powers prevents their acceding to Tewfik Pasha’s request for intervention. .
