Regarding tbe statement in the message “from Invercargill made by Air Gavin Brighton, in connection with the coal lands lease, that he intends to get titles, the Prime Minister told a “ Rangitikei Advocate " representative this afternoon that Mr Brighton can get a title to the_ surface rights, but nothing more, which was all that was contained in his lease. If he i* not satisfied, the law courts of tho Dominion are open to ail, and h;- ca., go ahead.
