In the House of Lords, Lord Beauchamp moved the second reading of the Welsh Church Disestablishment Bill, and Lord Kenyon moved its rejection. Tho Bishop of St. Asaph stated that after the death of tho present holders his cathedral would he left without a penny to pay the dean, canons, or choir. The income would go to colleges endowed already with £40,000 of public funds.
