The triennial conference of the head officers of the Department of Education and the School Inspectors of the Dominion will bo opened to-day at It) a.m. at Parliament Buildings. The department will bo represented by Mr G. Hogbbn (Inspector-General), Dr Anderson (Assistant Inspector-General), Messrs W. E. Spencer, W. W. Bird, T. H. Gill, M. H. Browne, J. Porteous, E. C, Isaacs, T. A. Walker, R. H. Pope, and Royd Garlick. The Wellington Education Board’s representatives are Messrs T. R. Fleming, F. H. Bakewell, F. G. A. Stuckey, and A. B. Charters.
