GENERAL FORECAST FOR TO-DAY. (By the Dominion Meteorologist.) Present indications (5 p.m. yesterday) are for high northerly winds, veering soon by west to southerly. Cloudy and unsettled weather is probable generally, with rain and colder weather following. The barometer is likely to fall further, but will rise rapidly after about twentyfour hours.
