ALLEGED WORLD’S RECORD. By Telegraph—Press Asaoclatiop—Copyriebl NEW YORK, February 9. At Boston, Platt-Adams broke tbo world’s record in the three standing jumps, doing 34ft 9Jin. According to “Miller's Sporting Pamphlet” the record for three standing broad jumps with weights is 42ft 6in, put up by J. Darby in March, 1892, at Manchester; and for three standing jumps •without weights 36ft 4jin, by T. Colcmett on August 25th, 1900. at St. Helens, England. Ray C, Ewry cleared 35ft &Jin without weights at Celtic Part, Long Island, U.RA., m 1903.
