SCUTARI BOMBARDED
KING NICHOLAS’S PRAYER. "GOD GIVE VICTORY TO MY BRAVE PEOPLE.” CETTXNJE, February 9. King Nicholas ordered a general adranee on Scutari, and viewed the bombardment from a hilltop. He uncovered his head, and prayed, “ May God give victory to my brave people.” The Servian artillery silenced a Moslem battery, which the Montenegrin infantry stormed and captured. Montenegrin guns sank two steamers on the lake. TERRIBLE STORIES BY WOUNDED HEROIC COURAGE OF TURKS. (Received February 10, 11.30 p.m.) CETTINJE, February 10. There was fighting outside Scutari on Friday night. On Saturday General Martinovitch reached wire entanglements from the Turkish entrenchments at Tarabosch. Fighting was resumed along the whole front at sunrise on Sunday. The Montenegrins made three assaults on Bardanglof. There were considerable losses. Both sides maintained their positions. The wounded relate terrible stories, and pay a tribute to the heroic courage of the Turks.
