GALE IN BRITAIN
NUMEROUS SHIPPING CASUALTIES. DOCK WORKERS DROWNED AT GLASGOW. LONDON, February 9. A gale did much damage in the North of England. There have been numerous shipping casualties. Serious havoc was also caused in Scotland. Tho gale blow open the Elderslie dock gates at Glasgow, and tho inrush of water drowned three workmen.
