CHARGES AGAINST AUSTRALIAN ELEVEN. SYDNEY, February 10. The secretary of the committee that inquired into tho charges against members of the Australian eleven, without disclosing the findings, says that many outside statements are being circulated which aro gross and unfair exaggerations. THE TRUMPER BENEFIT MATCH. (Received February 10, 9.25 p.m.) SYDNEY, February 10. For the Trumper benefit matefi tfio weather was fine, and the wicket easy. Trumper played a vigorous, masterly, and chanccless game, batting for three hours. Ho made sixteen 4’s, and received an ovation. Ryder was in great form, taking five wickets in seven overs at a cost of 15 runs. New South Wales in the first innings made 389 —Trumper (not out) 126, Noble 40. The Rest of Australia, in the second innings, lost six wickets for 163 — Mayne 26, Hill 34. Moyes 25, Armstrong (not out) 33, Ryder (not out) 23.
