GENERAL FORECAST FOR TO-DAY. (By the Dominion Meteorologist.) Present Indications (5 p.m. yesterday) are for increasing haze and cloudiness, freshening northerly winds, and a falling barometer everywhere. Rain probable soon on the West Coast and southern districts of the South Island, and more unsettled weather following generally.
