Mrs and Miss Glasson have returned from a visit to Auckland and .Rotorua. Mr and Mrs Von Haast are now- in their own house in Salamanca road. Miss M. Mrs Duncan, who has been visiting friends in Wellington, returned to Auckland by the Main Trunk yesterday. Mrs Anderson, of Christchurch, was a delegate to the Bible-in-schools conference held last week in Wellington. Mrs Harold Blundell, who has been staying with Airs Blundell, at “Clontarf,*’ returned to Carterton yesterday. Mrs and Miss Macdonald, of Dunedin, are visiting Mrs Macdonald's sister, Mrs Donald Robertson, on Talavera terrace. Miss Bean, of Christchurch, is staving with Miss Seddon, Golder's Hill; Mrs Seddon is visiting on the West Coast. The Messrs Barnett have taken Mrs Cleghorn’s house in Harbour View, during the latter’s absence in. England. Mr and Airs Spragg intend leaving on a visit to Sydney at tbe end of the present month. Airs Tripe has purchased a section, of the property owned by Mrs Quick on Wellington terrace and intends building there. Atiss Signa McWilliam, who motor cycled through from Napier on Friday last, is at present the guest of her sister, Airs A. A. Prichard. Austin street. Aliss Dorothy Harding, from Auckland, arrived on Saturday to stay -with the Prime Alinister and Airs Alassoy in Tiuakori road. His Excellency the Governor and the Countess of Liverpool have issued invitations to a garden party at Government House on Saturday next, February 14th. Mr and Airs Harris, of Ficton, leave Auckland by the Zealandia for Vancouver on Friday next. They will visit Europe and return to New Zealand by way of Sydney. Mrs Rigg. wife of Mr Rigg, recently appointed Inspector of the Bank of New Zealand ,is expected from Melbourne this week. She will stay for a short time at Miss Malcolm’s on Wellington, terrace. Mr and Mrs Meadowcroft have issued invitations for the marriage of their daughter, Alisa Gladys Meadowcroft, with Dr Owen, of Auckland, which takes place in the Terrace Congregational Church, on Thursday, February 27th. Airs and Miss Finch are staying at Aliss Morton’s, Qolder’s Hill, for a fortnight, after which they intend returning to Palmerston North, where they will stay with Airs Finch’s daughter, Mrs Putnam. The Hon. A. L. Herdman and Mrs Herdman have issued invitations for an “at home” to the members of Mr Herdman s committees, to be held in the Kclburne Kiosk to-morrow afternoon, February 12th.
