CUSTOMS' FRAUDS
FUEL COMPANY’S OFFICIALS ARRESTED. By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright SAN FRANCISCO, February 6. Officials of the Western Fuel Company have been arrested for Customs frauds. They overcharged, with the connivance of Customs officials, duties on Australian coal orders so as to enable the company to get a larger refund allowed when the coal was used on American ships.
