MYSTERIOUS DEATH

MAN FOUND IN CREEK WITH BROKEN NECK. SYDNEY, February 6. At the inquest on William McMillan, whoso body has been, recovered from the Kareelah creek, near th© Queensland border, the evidence showed that McMillan was a member of a party of four. The three others returned to Kareelah the day after the party left, and reported that McMillan was missing. ■ The medical testimony was to the effect that death resulted from a broken neck, before the body entered the water. Thero was no evidence as to how tho fatality occurred. An open verdict was returned.
