There is no doubt about its payableness' from' the visiblegold quite apart from the value of the sulphides, which show no diminution. In my opinion the object of our venture is accomplished. Shareholders can be congratulated on the possession of a very valuable property. Last week F. Eose, one of our best miners, had his hand badly crushed while in the face, and as it is very hard to get men we decided to stop NO. 1 for the time being and work two shifts on No. 6. 1 will push on the level till we reach the other wall, and. as previously reported, oy the middle of February we will set the battery going and I hope from amalgamation alone to get a very fair return. There is nothing further to add at the moment." COMMERCIAL CABLES By Tel seraph—Press Association—Copyright LONDON, February 5. WHEAT. Wheat cargoes are firm, and there is a better demand.
