From Our Own Correspondent. February 6. J. Galland and E. B. Stephenson succeeded in beating Forgher and E. Butt for tho Dixon Friendly Pins on the bowling green on Wednesday, and J. Mitchell and Bromley had the Stansell Feathers wrested from them by Knowles and Boultbee. The second round for the champion pairs tennis tournament resulted as follows: Miss Hayes and Mr Colman, 50, beat Mrs Doidge and Mr Carter, 47; Miss Dunckley and Mr Stierning, 50, beat Miss Laurvig and Mr Low, 30; Miss Hayes and Mr Colman, 50, beat Miss Jones and Air R. W. Taylor, 35; Mfss Hayes and Air Colman, 50, beat Mrs Laurvig and Mr Dunckley, 38. This leaves the final to be played between Miss Dunckley and Mr Stierning and Miss Hayes and Mr Colman. A rink from Shannon skipped by Mr Knowles will visit Levin on Saturday to play for the Kinniburgh Feathers.
