Princess Flo, who competed in the Hack Hardies on the first day, won the Farmers* Plato from end to apparently is of better class than those she was opposed to. NgatiruanuFs win in tho Eltham Hurdles was full of merit, as Sandy Faul was with him at the last hurdle, but he beat that speedy gelding homo quite comfortably. Aviatnx, who was a hot favourite the first day, finished last. Iho racing will do Marton good. In the Okaiawa Hurdle.* Term was very different to thath© exhibited on the first day, when ho was tailed on. it looked as it his rider had only to movo ou him to beat a stable mate in Allure. This was tho opinion of tho stipendiary stewards, wlxo, after inquiring idto cola's running, suspended Kelly, the rider, for twelve months for not riding his horse out when ho had a good chance of winning. In tho Atkinson Memorial Stakes Mira had tho race in sate keeping a long way from homo. Patriotic, who mado all the running and finished second, would have paid a splendid dividend had he won. Astor looked like winning the Maiden Scurry from end to end, but stopped very quickly over tho last bit and notes beat him easily. In the Nonnanby Welter the favourite, Distinction, was prominent for half the journey, after which North East went on in front. Ho was caught ou the post and beaten by a head by Boyal Simon. The latter although bracketed on the machine with Master Tupuhi, returned a remunerative dividend. The stewards subsequently called W. Touug, rider of North East, before them, and tendered him some advice. It was their opinion ae had been caught napping througn looking round after entering the straight. The meeting was concluded with the Inaha Hack Flat, for which Tetikura was made a very strong favourite and duly landed tho stake after a good set-to with Hector Girl. Styrax refused to join the field at the barrier, and they were sent away without him.
