EVENING SPOKI'S. The Athletic Football Sports Club was favoured with fine weather last evening when it held an evening sports meeting on. the Basin. Deserve. Some very good racing was witnessed. Won easily by two yards. Second heat: K. Adams (15yds), 1; J. Widen (3yds), 2; A. Cunningham (9yds), 3. Also started—J. Hubbard (2yds), Murphy (12yds), A. Binton. (I7yds). Fitzgerald (110yds), M. Tracy (200yds). Time, 6mm 34scc. Tracy made the pace for two and a hall' laps and stopped. Sievwnghl come out when 150yds from home and won a good race by ten yards from Johnson. These were the only two who finished. ' Half-mile Handicap.—Pugh (30yds), 1; P.
