FIREMEN DELAY STEAMER
Press Association. AUCKLAND, February 4. The steamer Westmeath was due to sail for Wellington at 5 p.m. but was held up for over four hours owing to six firemen absenting themselves. The vessel eventually sailed without the men, as she carried sufficient firemen to comply with the Board of Trade regulations.
