WHITE SLAVERY ACT
FLOGGING OF CONNOR QUASHED. (Received February 5, 0.45 a.m.) LONDON, February 4. The Appeal Court quashed the flogging of Connor on the ground that the proceedings commenced prior to the passing oC the Act , and increased his sentence by two years.
