FLOOD IN QUEENSLAND
HORSES FLOATING DOWN STREAM. CROPS HEAVILY DAMAGED. BRISBANE, February 4. It is reported that there is a big flood in the Johnstone river. Seventeen dead horses and two houses were seen floating down stream. Probably the cane and banana crops will be heavily damaged.
