RESOLUTION BY LABOURERS’ UNION. Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, February 4. At a largely-attended meeting of the General Labourers’ Union to-night, the following motion was unanimously agreed to; “That this union views with disgust tho prosecuting of boys two or three times for one offence, the taking away of their civil rights, and the garuisheoing of their wages, and urges upon the citizens to do all in their power to lessen the birth-rate until tho Defenco Act is repealed.”
