J. D. WILLIAMS REMANDED LLOYD HANDED OVER TO DETECTIVE. By Telesraph—Press Association—Copyright (Received February 3, 9.35 p.m.) SYDNEY, February 3. j. D. Williams has been remanded on the charge of harbouring and assisting Frank Lloyd, who was arrested last Monday in Auckland on a charge of forging an order for tho purchase of 150,000 of the company’s shares. Bail of £SOO was forthcoming. Bail was also forthcoming when he was arrested on Saturday. Interesting details of the J. D. Williams business will be found on page 2. LLOYD TO GO BACK TO SYDNEY. Press Association. AUCKLAND, February 3. On a charge of having forged an order for 150,000 shares in the Greater J. D. Williams 1 Amusements Company with intent to defraud, Francis Shortall Lloyd appeared in the Police Court to-day. Chief-Detective Walker, of New South Wales police, having arrived, accused was handed over to him to be escorted back to Sydney.
