RECENT REINSTATEMENT CRI- , TICISED. PARIS, February 2. In the Chamber of Deputies the Government was questioned as to the reinstatement of Colonel du Paty de dam in the Territorials. After discussion a vote of confidence in tho Government was carried. M. Etienne declared that no Minister could give an appointment to a man who, after his reinstatement, had insulted his superiors, by conduct which should have received disciplinary measures.
