THE WEATHER PROSPECTS
GENERAL FORECAST FOR TO-DAY. (By the Dominion Meteorologist.) Present indications (5 p.m. yesterday) are for moderate to strong westerly winds generally, and squally at times in Cook (Strait, and especially about Foveaux Strait. Fair ,to cloudy weather generally, but rain is probable on the West Coast and southern districts. Barometrio pressure decreasing everywhere for a low pressure area passing southward of the Dominion about Wednesday.
