GOLD RETURNS
THE JANUARY OUTPUT.
The following return shows the quantity and value of gold and silver exported from the several ports of New Zealand during the month of January: VALUE.
The total for January, 1912, was 35,8750 z, valued at £144.067, a decrease of 49330 z. value £19,164. The silver exports for January amounted to 13,3850 z, value £13,674, against 94640 z, value £946 for the corresponding month last vest, an increase of 123,9210 z, value £12,723.
