SYDNEY WATER BOARD
THE RECENT DISMISSAL OF EMPLOYEES. (Received January 31, 10.45 p.m.) SYDNEY, January 31. In response to representations from the Water Board, which recently dismissed a largo number of employees owing to a shortage of funds, Mr Cann has agreed to find an additional £IOO,000 when the present vote of £360,000 is exhausted.
