MARINE MISHAPS

A STEAMER ASHORE. {Received January 31, 11-45 p.m.) BRISBANE, January 31. The steamer lunatnincka (2501 tons), belonging to the Adelaide Steamship Co., is fast ashore on Alexandra Reef, 25 miles north of Cairns. She was bound from Cairns to Melbourne, and was blown out of her course in a cyclone. The Innamincka is ashore on Wentworth Reef, just outside Port Douglas, whence the company has despatched the Kiiranda to the scope. The postmaster has received a telegram from Port Douglas that the vessel will probably be refloated without damage. Communication with Cairns is interrupted. The officers and crew number fiftysis. MAGDELBURG’S CARGO AFIRE. (Received January 31, 11.45 p.m.) LONDON, January 31. The steamer Mogdelburg, 4497 tons, from Hamburg to Melbourne, has arrived at Corunna with her cargo afire.
