TRAIN DERAILED
FIVE WORKMEN KILLED; FIVE . INJURED. BRISBANE, January 31. V double railway accident occurred near Murphy’s Crock. A cauie train was derailed, and the lino blocked for ten chains. Vhile the breakdown gang was clearing the wreckage, a train of empty cars ran into the debris. Five workmen —F. Freese, James Little, P. J. McCarthy, Charles McGregor, and Waiter Claydon—were killed. I r ive others were injured, two lyANOTHER MAN DEAD. (Received February 1, 0.46 a.m.) ' BRISBANE, January 31. Alexander Matthews, another victim of the Murphy’s Creek disaster, is dead.
