MASTERTON SHOW
entries close to-dat. Entries for the annual show ot the Masterton A. and P. Association close with the secretary (Air J. B. Emmett) at Masterton to-night. It is o common practice ot exhibitors to -withhold their entries to the very last moment, so that they mav know exactly what stock and other exhibits will bo ready for the show. So that none may be disappointed, j revision ftas been made to recta ve
late entries. In the meantime, it is satisfactory to find that entries are pouring in to the secretary, and that the prospects for a record show are exceedingly bright. The arrangements are complete in every detail, and although a magnificent exhibition of ettid slock is promised, the farmers’ classes, and the industrial section ofier special mducement« to exhibitors. Those who have been successful at the minor shows will doubtless be tempted to try Jhwr fortune at Masterton, where the pick of the Dominion's flocks and herds will be competing, and where the best of New Zealand’s judges will be adjudicating.
