OLD MAORI CHURCH DESTROYED Special to tho “ Times.” WANGANUI, January 31. During tho height of tho thunderstorm a couple oi nights ago an old Maori church between Rata and Porewa, on tho Main Trunk line, was struck by lightning and completely destroyed by lire. A largo tree at tho back of Rata was also shattered and burnt.
