The Miramar Municipal Brass Band’s bazaar, fancy fair and art union will he officially opened on Wednesday next at 8 p.m. in the Town Hall, Miramar, by Mr W. H. D. Bell, M.P. The committee (Messrs G. Walden, H. Walden, J. Love, G. Fredewell, J. G. Newton, treasurer, E. Tones, secretary, and F. L. Dean, bandmaster) have spared no expense or labour to make this function a huge success. The stalls will be laden with beautiful and useful articles. An energetic committee of ladies will bo there to induce visitors to buy. The .band to-day has a very fair repertoire of music, and will be heard each evening ■ t the bazaar. The object of this function is to help the band purchase a suitable uniform and pay for the instruments.
