PROPRIETARY GOODS
WEST AUSTRALIAN HEALTH ACT. DEPUTATIONS WAIT ON AGENTGENERAL. (Received January 30, 2.48 pun.) "LONDON, January 30. The owners of proprietary medicines and foods sent a deputation to wait on the Hon. Sir Newton Moore, AgentGeneral for Western Australia, respecting tho Health Act. They assert that if the Western Australian regulations as to the disclosure of formulae are not modified, trade with West Australia will cease entirely. Tho Wine and Spirit Association is also protesting respecting the additions allowed to be made to wine, and snggesting that Western Australia follow anada’s example and allow the entry of all wines which meet the legal requirements of the places where they are produced. The whisky distilleries also sent a deputation te Sir Newton Moore to present their side of the question. Sir Newtipx Moore promised to place the views of the deputations before hia Government.
