DISASTROUS FIRE
BLOCK OF BUILDINGS DE STROYED.
BRISBANE, January 30.
A fire at Manango destroyed a block comprising the Palace Hotel, the Palace Theatre, the shops of Gofi (fruiterer), Macnamara (stationer), Stuart (tailor), and the South Burnet Importing Company. Macnamara owned the block, which carries an insurance of £1950. The loss is estimated at £SOOO.
