LONDON, January 29. The Scottish Rugby Union has cidod not to renew it.d fixture with Franco in consequence of the riots ow New Year’s Day.

The crowd mobbed the English referee in the Franco-Scottish Rugby match, and assailed him with sticks and stones. Tha Municipal Guard rescued him. The majority of the newspapers regretted the mobbing, though they made some critters m at the referee’s decisions. The incident did not detract from the cordiality*; at tno banquet, which was attended by all the players and officials.
