DUNEDIN, January 30,
His Excellency the Governor and Lady Liverpool were driven round tho city to-day and inspected the hospital, Roslyn woollen mills, and Karitano Harris Hospital for Babies. In tho afternoon his Excellency held a levee at the Town Hall, when a large and representative number of citizens had the i honour of being presented to him. To-morrow tho Vice-Regal party leave for the north. At Oamaru bis Excellency will informally receive the members of tho Town Council, and at Orari h© will take part in the staff ride arranged by Colonel Godley, subsequently joining the second express Cor Christchurch.
On Saturday he will attend the races at Riccarton, and th© same evening, with Lady Liverpool and party, he will proceed by tho steamer te Wellington.
