Mr O. E. W. Dean read a paper before the Society of Arts on the subject of “The Wool Industry in the British Dominions.” The Hon. W. I*. Beeves presided, and among the speakers were the Hon. Thomas Mackenzie (High Commissioner for New Zealand) and the Hon. J. G. Jenkins (South Australia).
