LABOUR LEAGUE CENSURES THE

GOVERNMENT.

SYDNEY, January 29. The New South Wales Political and Labour League Conference invited the Premier (Mr MoGowon) to explain why the Government had passed an Act assisting the Broken Hill Proprietary to establish iron and steel works at Newcastle.

The explanation was considered unsatisfactory, and the conference, by 104 votes to 42, carried a vote of oenirare on the Government.
