UPROAR IN COLORADO SENATOR ATTACKS PROPOSAL AS IMMORAL. By Telegraph—Press Association —Cppyrlshl (Received January 28, 9.50 p.m.) WASHINGTON, January 28. A debate in the Colorado State Legislature making women liable to servo on juries, raise*! an uproar. Senator Williams attacked the proposal as immoral. Ho said that be would hate to see bis wife or daughter compelled to listen to criminal cases or locked in a jury room with male jurors for several nights. - The women suffragists resent Senator Williams’s statements.
