EVELYN OXEN HAM’S DEATH,

At the inquest on Evelyn Oxenham, who died of exposure on' Mount Egmont, a verdict of accidental death was returned, the coroner stating that Ernest Locke, who was with the young lady and left her to find the track, had done everything possible to save the girl. The latter • had wandered from the spot where Locke left her, so that when he returned she could not be found.
