THE WEATHER PROSPECTS
GENERAL FORECAST FOR TO-DAY.
(By the Dominion Meteorologist.)
Present indications (5 p.m. yesterday) are for decreasing southerlies, the winds backing then by west to northerly and increashig after about twenty-four hours, cold changeable and showery weather and a temporary improvement following, but the latter part of the week is likely to bo very unsettled. Tho barometer is now rising steadily, but low pressure is due to pass in the south about Friday night.
