'■ LONDON, January 26. The men of the Skelmorsdale collieries, by 963 votes to 130, decided to give notice to cease work unless nonunionists are excluded.
KERSEY BOILERMAKERS,
OPPOSE INTRODUCTION OF MACHINERY.
(Received January 27, 11 p.m.) LONDON. January 27. The Kersey Boilermakers’ Society is opposing tho new oxy-acetylene appliance for cutting plates, dispossessing hand labour.
Tho society insists on tho employment. of fifty men for the first two machines and fifty men for every additional machine.
