PASSENGER ARRESTED

AUCKLAND, January 27,

Francis Shorthall Lloyd, a passenger by tho Maheno, was arrested on a charge of having forged at Sydney an order directing a firm to purchase 150,000 shares in the Greater J. D. Williams Amusement Company, with intent to defraud. Ho had £52 in his possession. Ho was remanded to Sydney.
