GENERAL FORECAST FOR TO-DAY

Present indications (at 5 p.m. yesterday) are a further fall in the barometer, but a rapid rise will probably follow in from ten to sixteen hours; strong northerly winds changing by west to eouth generally. Squally conditions with heavy rain arc probable generally, and a cold change everywhere soon. (Details on shipping page.)
