MOTOR GARAGE BURNED

PALAIERSTON. January 27
A fire broke cut at 3.40 o’clock this morning, in a garage owned by Air J. E. Skcates. The owner was away from town at the time, and there had been nobody in the building since ■jaturdav. The whole of the building:
vas gutted, and five cars were badly damaged. Two of them were owned ' y Mr Skeates, the remaining three , belonging to private owners- —Messrs \V. I. Lovelock, Mellsop and Eliott,
nd P. C. Clinvtor. Woodviile. Ahoui > worth of accessories were completely destroyed. Collinson and Son’, ironmongery store was slightly damaged. The insurances are not available.
