A STAND-UP FIGHT.
About a quarter past 9 on Saturday night proceedings in Courtenay place wore enlivened by Michael McPherson and Thomas Kelly indulging in a stand-up iistio engagement. Some 209 spectators were interesting themselves in the encounter, which was suddenly terminated by Sergeant Murphy interfering and arresting the combatants. They were charged with causing a broach of the peace, and, pleading guilty, were each tinea £l, in default icrty-cight hours’ imprisonment. IDLE AND DISORDERLY. John Daymond was fined £l, with costs 7s, for having been found on the Clyde Quay Hotel premises after hours on November 28th last.
