DAMAGES FOR BREACH OF CONTRACT. LONDON, January 25, The King’s Bench Division of the High Court of Justice has awarded the Marconi Wireless Company £6OOO against M. Goukashoff for breach of contract in connection with a Russian Company. AUSTRALIA’S POSITION. MELBOURNE, January 25. Commenting on tho “Manchester Guardian’s” statement that tho selfgoverning dominions had waived their rights in tho wireless agreement, the Acting-Postmastcr-Gencral (Senator Findley) said Australia had not backed out of the agreement, and every effort had boon made during tho last three years to perfect installations throughout tho Commonwealth. The “Manchester Guardian” stated that until India and the self-governing colonies, who are parties to the contract, have jointly agreed to waive their rights, the Marconi Company cannot bo released from its contract with tho Post Office.
