ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
DEATH PROM HEART FAILURE. Special to the “ Times.” WANGANUI, January 25. Mr W. Kerr, S.M., hold an inquest yesterday concerning tho sudden death at Westmero of a man named Joseph Dickerson. Tho deceased was in tho employ of Mr S. O. Snow, and was driving a team drawing material for tho new reservoir. At 5 o’clock ho unyoked his horses and went into his wharc. A short time afterwards ho was found dea|d on his bed. Medical testimony was to tho effect that death was due to heart failure, and a verdict was returned accordingly. Deceased was about sixty-five years of age, and had been in tho Dominion about thirty years. His wife resides at Home. Press Association. NAPIER, January 25. A lad named Morrow, who some weeks ago accidentally shot himself with a pea rifle, while cleaning it, has died in the hospitiL TIMARU, January 25. A seat and an oar from the boat with the two men carried to sea at Rangitata have been found on the beach.
